Tell us how you have implemented mindfulness into your personal life.
I try to take a long, peaceful shower each night after work and use that time to clear my mind, relax ad breathe deeply. Seems to be working so far!
I actually have come to the realisation that I am quite a mindful person and I am now enjoying sharing this with others. Someone referred to me as being a spiritual person the other day from just reading my nursery facebook posts ha haa. #spreadingthemindfulness.
I love to go running to release stress and long walks with my dog, where I can take in the sea views, breathe in the air and relax. I am also doing yoga with the children and as part of my own fitness routine.
I have sarted take time for myself instead of always rushing around to complete tasks I have been taking tme out to relax and unwind by reading book or listening to soothing music. I ha also downloaded the headspace app which I access every morning I have introduced this to my setting also g also.
I have been taking part in body balance classes which allow me to de-stress and relax my mind and body after a busy week through yoga, Pilates and meditation. I have also implemented these elements into my setting and the children are enjoying controlling their breathing and practicing their yoga poses through the story 'Yoga Bunny' to finish off a nursery session.
